Grey Bruce Youth Soccer League - Discipline
- Members of the discipline committee shall consist of the President of Grey-Bruce Youth Soccer League, the Referee-in-Chief and one other appointed member of the League Board of Directors. If there is a conflict of interest, then another member of the League may be appointed.
- The GBYSL Discipline Committee shall deal with all red and yellow cards issued and shall impose a fine or penalty for any player or team official found guilty.
- Players, coaches and officials of Grey-Bruce Youth Soccer League are not suspended from play or activity with the League until they or an official for their club have been notified by an official of Grey-Bruce Youth Soccer League.
- Any act deemed “extreme” in nature can result in immediate and indefinite suspension as determined by officials of Grey-Bruce Youth Soccer League after investigation with players, coaches and officials who were present to witness the event.
- A player who fails to pay a fine is suspended until the fine is paid.
- Grey-Bruce Youth Soccer League reserves the right to suspend any coach or team official in response to repeated complaints of their conduct after consultation with the individuals involved.
- Any complaint to be reviewed must be received in writing within 72 hours of the incident by a member of the discipline committee. Club officials have the names and addresses of the members of the GBYSL Discipline Committee.
